I build practical tools, civic experiments, AI workflows, and creative systems.
My work usually sits somewhere between product strategy, storytelling, public data, automation, and interface design. I am especially interested in tools that make information easier to understand, decisions easier to make, and systems easier to navigate.
I run Octopus & Son, a digital marketing and strategy agency based in Calgary, Alberta. Through that work, I help organizations clarify their message, organize their digital presence, and build systems that support better communication.
GitHub is where I document the things I am building, testing, and learning.
I’m building practical web apps, AI-assisted workflows, and small product systems that help people organize work, understand information, and move faster without adding unnecessary complexity.
My current work sits across a few themes:
- AI-assisted operations — workflow systems, sprint automation, agent coordination, and reusable development processes.
- Public data and civic tools — interfaces that make complex civic or regional information easier to explore.
- Sports and fan experience products — live companion apps, contest systems, and tools that make games more interactive.
- Prompt and knowledge systems — reusable AI workflows, prompt libraries, and structured documentation.
- Creative product experiments — playful interfaces, niche dashboards, and useful tools built from real workflow problems.
- Documentation for solo builders — clearer handoffs, project state files, and operating systems for small teams.
AI OPS A structured operating system for managing AI-assisted development work. It focuses on autonomous sprint workflows, handoffs, terminal-safe processes, audit trails, and keeping complex projects organized across human direction and AI execution.
Bluejays Hub A live baseball companion app that translates the emotional rhythm of a Blue Jays game. Instead of only showing scores and statistics, it helps fans understand momentum, pressure, confidence, player stories, and why a moment matters.
Socialveil A visual social media planning and campaign workflow tool for organizing content, assets, approvals, and publishing strategy.
FGC Hub A hockey first-goal contest platform with game schedules, player picks, eligibility rules, leaderboard logic, and admin tools.
Calgary Council Values A civic data visualization project exploring how public information can be made easier to understand, compare, and discuss.
EMS Map A public-facing emergency services visibility project focused on mapping, context, and accessible civic information.
ViewCake A video review and client feedback platform built around timestamped comments, revisions, approvals, and media delivery workflows.
I like building tools that are useful, explainable, and grounded in real human behaviour.
The best systems do not just display information. They help people understand what matters, what changed, what to do next, and why it matters.
That is the thread connecting most of what I build here.
I am not trying to make GitHub look perfect. I am trying to make the work visible.
Some repositories are active products. Some are prototypes. Some are experiments. Some are records of learning. Together, they show how I think through problems, build tools, and turn ideas into working systems.
